Emily Mortimer

Emily Mortimer was born in England and is an actor screenwriter, screenwriter and author of Hollywood films. As a former theatre student, she has an impressive heritage, Mortimer has an unassuming appearance and a quiet. Mortimer began her career in the sequel of 1964's Mary Poppins musical, "Mary Poppins Returns." This was a pivotal role for Mortimer. She played a quirky French assistant in 'The Pink Panther' as well as an ambitious and cocky news producer in 'The Newsroom. Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer was born on December 1 1971, in Hammersmith, London, to famous barrister and author Sir John Mortimer and Penelope Gollop. Emily has several siblings. Emily has a brother as well another sister as a result of the marriage of her father Penelope Fletcher. Her younger sister is named Rosie. She also has a half-brother known as Ross Bentley, from her father's friendship with actor Wendy Craig. Mortimer attended the St Paul's Girls' School in London. Following her graduation at Oxford University in 1994 where she was a student of English at Lincoln College and Russian, she was enrolled in the Moscow Arts Theatre Drama School in order to learn about acting.
