Megan Gale

Gale was 18 when she won a modeling competition at the age of 18 in Perth. Gale won a modelling competition in Perth, at the age of 18. After a few years in the industry, Gale became famous when she was chosen as a model in an advertisement for Omnitel the Italian telecoms enterprise (now Vodafone Italy). The ads featured her up to 2006 and was chosen in 2003 by the Australian Tourist Commission as the "face of Australia for Italy.' Gale appeared on the covers of Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. In addition, she was featured in Italian Maxim and Australian InStyle. Gale has modeled for Italian fashion houses such as Gianfranco Ferre Genny, Gai Mattiolo and has also worked on runways on behalf of Mariella Burani, and Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. Gale is also a fan of many Australian designers such as Colette Dinnigan Kirrily Johnsonston Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. She also served as the expert on fashion for the Logies the Logies, an Australian TV award. Gale revealed in January of 2008 that she was retiring in fashion after fifteen productive years. In the following weeks when she was launching the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for one last time down the catwalk. In her final appearance she donned Wonder Woman's outfit from The Justice League of America movie that was never released. The film was released in March 2011.
